Soldier
Hollow (Midway, UT) - For nordic
ski enthusiasts, the mountains and valleys of Wasatch
County offer some of the area’s best cross-country skiing
destinations. At Soldier Hollow, more than 16 miles of
groomed trails provide winter recreation opportunities
for first-timers, crossover downhill skiers, and expert
skiers. Soldier Hollow was named “Best Venue” for the
2002 Olympic Winter Games by USA today. Soldier Hollow
also operates a tubing park with lifts, lights, and music
boasting six Super-Lanes measuring 1,000 feet – the longest
lanes in the U.S. Once the snow melts, trails are open
to hikers. The scenery is astounding, particularly in
